Terms of Service

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These terms apply to your use of crashmedia.ca and to services provided by Crash Media. Project work is also governed by the quote or agreement for that project. Where the two differ, the project agreement wins.

Quotes and work

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work begins once a quote is accepted. Changes to scope may change cost or timing, and we'll confirm any change with you before proceeding.

Payment

Invoices are due within the period shown on the invoice. Hardware may require payment before it is ordered. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes.

Equipment and ownership

Equipment you pay for is yours once paid in full. We'll provide the credentials and documentation for systems we build for you.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for giving us accurate information, safe access to your premises and systems, and for having the right to let us work on the equipment and data involved.

Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship and will correct defects in our work that are reported within a reasonable time. Hardware and software are covered by their manufacturers' warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Crash Media is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data, profits or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service that gave rise to it. Keep independent backups of important data.

Remote support and portals

Only start a remote support session when we've asked you to. Keep your portal credentials private and tell us right away if you think they've been compromised.
